U.S Army's Use of Drone in Afganistan_Opinion Editorial

There are many pros and cons to the United State's use of drones in the war in Afghanistan. Drones are non-manned military devices such as air to ground missiles, which can used to destroy a target without risking soldiers lives. However, these devises do endanger civilians lives. The United States Army favors using the drones because they helped reduce causalities and because they can be highly effective. The Afghanistan government and many other nations, however, argue that the United States use of drones puts civilians in danger. Ultimately, the United States should continue drones but they need to be careful to avoid targeting regions that are heavily populated by civilians.

The main reason why the United States should continue to use drone is to keep solders off the battlefield and out of sight, which happens when they use UN-maned Drones like the MQ-9 Reaper. This drone carries Predator missiles that another man can operate from a far distance away. A Predator missile is a missile that can fired and controlled to a high militant area with the least amount of collateral damage. The only danger is that these can be inaccurate. So if the United States is going to use them, they have to make sure they do so only when they have a clear target.

The second reason the United States should continue to use Drone weapons is because they are fighting a battle against terrorists and not against a traditional type of army. The US Army has thought of a "Kill chain" the process of finding a target and attacking now rather waiting for a Sniper or Airstrike. They all so want to adopt a tactic of  "Out of sight/Out of Mind" in the drone war.

My conclusion shows that Un-Manned Drones, may the best idea for afganiastan war. Keeping militants as main target and cilivian the last target or try to avoid them.

P: Joe Mauer, Minnesota Twins Catcher, is the star of this first series against the New York Yankees. He is unable to have his buddy Justin Morneau due to his resent concussion.I: In local news paper he was told he needs to "Step-Up" his game and provide a driving force the defeat the Yankees. Even thought he is an awesome player he can't bet the Yankees him self. He has a very strong team behind him like Jim Thome, Orlando Hudson, Francisco Lariano and the other twins players. The Yankees line up is scary to look at With Derek Jeter, A-Rod, and power house Michael Teixiera. But their are major holes on their team, including Pitching staff. If Joe Mauer and the twins start hitting the ball left and right, they can only rely on their in and out fields the get out of the inning.

Last night the New York, Yankees defeted the Twins in game one. E:Joe Mauer Batted 1 for 5,One hit and two strike outs. To me thats not a step up, it you triped on the stairs and fell backwards(Lucky he didnt get hurt).

Obi-Wan helped him along with R2D2, C3PO, Han Solo and Chewbacca to finish his quest. In Blue Diamond doug was forced but his friend to go to Planet Hollywood but ended up in Las Vegas.
